The Turner Family began ranching in Powell Butte, Oregon in 1942. Steve grew up in the ranch and timber business. He attended college courses in Business Management at Oregon College of Education in Monmouth and Central Oregon Community College in Bend, Oregon. After college, Steve was involved in ranching and the timber industry in Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Alaska, Northern California and British Columbia, Canada.

Steve was an "on staff" lobbyist representing an association of resource based Central and Eastern Oregon communities during the drafting and final stages of several National Forest plans. This occupation required numerous trips to Washington D.C.

As owner/operator of a contract Timber Falling business for over 20 years, Steve was also involved in the acquisition and marketing of both private and public timber.

With his extensive background and knowledge in the timber and ranching business, Steve specializes in these types of properties and is able to handle the complicated issues associated with them.

Steve is Licensed in the state of Oregon.
